HomePROJECTS – MODERN VILLA IN LA

2 market, llc point of purchase

Concrete work is unglamorous by nature — nobody stops to admire a parking lot or a sidewalk — but it's also the kind of work an entire property sits on, literally. Juan Carlos Escobar built JC Escobar Construction in Fort Wayne, Indiana, around getting that foundational work right: hotel parking lots, city sidewalks, residential driveways, walking paths, and patios, poured and finished by a crew that treats every job like it has to outlast the building around it.

Two retail-ready packaging systems and a full photography library for an inventor-led active lifestyle product.

The product's value was obvious in the hand and invisible in a box. Without packaging that communicated fit, function, and lifestyle at a glance, buyers would have to be told what they were looking at — and on a retail shelf, nobody is there to tell them. The founders also faced a strategic unknown: they didn't yet know which retail environment would receive the product best, and committing to a single packaging direction meant gambling on that answer. There was no photography of any kind. No product shots, no lifestyle imagery, no assets for a line sheet, a pitch deck, a retailer conversation, or an e-commerce listing. The brand had nothing to show.

The challenge

2 Market moved from a prototype in a founder's hand to a product that could walk into a buyer meeting and speak for itself.

The approach

The result

Uzo Design treated the packaging as the product's silent salesperson, and built the visual asset library the brand needed to sell in every channel at once.

• Two distinct POP display systems — Two complete point-of-purchase packaging directions — different structural and visual strategies — giving the founders a real choice to test against buyers rather than a single take-it-or-leave-it concept.

• Cast and directed lifestyle photography — Models hired, styled, and photographed using the sleeves in genuine activity, so a shopper sees the product in their own life rather than in a studio.

• Standalone product photography — Clean, in-context still imagery of the sleeves in everyday settings — the versatile workhorse assets for listings, decks, and social.

• Channel-flexible asset library — A single shoot deliberately structured to serve packaging, retailer pitches, e-commerce, and social media without reshooting.

Optionality instead of a gamble.

Delivering two developed directions lets the founders take real packaging into buyer conversations and let market feedback — not internal preference — decide the winner.

Instant shelf comprehension:

Lifestyle-forward packaging answers what it is, who it's for, and why it matters within the few seconds a shopper actually gives a new product.

A sales toolkit, not just a box.

The photography library immediately equips line sheets, retailer pitches, e-commerce listings, and social content — work most early-stage brands pay for three separate times.

Credibility at parity with national brands.

Original, cast photography positions an inventor-led venture alongside established competitors rather than beneath them.
